About

My Background

Born in a sunny seaside town near Belfast in 1972. I took my first photographs at around ten years old and soon a camera was the top of my present list and I was hooked!

I went on to study photography and live in London before building a successful career in the London Film Industry were I worked as a freelance cameraman, camera assistant and film stills photographer on assignments ranging from films and television drama to pop videos and commercials.

Upon entering my 30s I decided it was time a change in direction and embarked on a 6 month photographic tour of South East Asia and China. The warmth of the people of South East Asia along with the many wonderful sights I saw reignited my love of photography in particular photographing people.

I returned to Manchester inspired and determined to pursue my passion for photography.

I spent the next few years fine tuning my skills working on a variety of jobs and assisting other wedding photographers whilst attending seminars and training led by some of the worlds most acclaimed wedding photographers, people like Jeff Ascough, Marcus Bell and many more.

I have since gone on to shoot many weddings at top locations in Manchester and all over the UK and become the established professional photographer id always dreamed of being.
